An 8 kms drive from Tehla is very well compensated by an enchanting view of the ruins of several fabulously carved temples which stand studded on a small hillock, surrounded on all sided by wooded hills. It is believed they date back as early as the 6th to 9th centuries. Particularly remarkable is the highly venerated Shiva Temple, where people worship even today. Neelkanth also has a single-stone giant statue of the Jain Trithankara, Shantinathji. ( Photo credit: Nishant Singh Sisodiya)
