Siliserh Lake

The tranquil lake is situated on the Jaipur road, the lake palace Siliserh is set beside a pretty lake bounded by wooded hills and was built as a summer retreat. The water body covers an area of about 10.5 sq. kms. A royal hunting lodge/palace was built by Maharaja Vinay Singh for his beloved queen, Shila in 1845 AD. It has been converted into a hotel and is an attractive spot for a peaceful holiday. Visitors can also enjoy boating in the lake.
